18 DECEMBER 2019 – Coldplay’s latest album, Everyday Life, the video of Toy Story 4 and videogame FIFA 20 top UK wishlists for Christmas this year, according to data from the Entertainment Retailers Association’s (ERA) quarterly consumer survey.

But preferences vary significantly by age, with the under-25s opting for Lewis Capaldi in music and Toy Story 4 in video, while the over-55s choose Rod Stewart and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and David Attenborough’s Seven Worlds, One Planet

The research is based on responses from 1,870 people who have been polled on a quarterly basis for the past six years to create the most authoritative picture of UK consumption of entertainment.
